Stasia Richter, MD, is a primary care internist who dedicated her professional career to providing compassionate, high quality care to her patients. She continues to volunteer as a physician at Bolingbrook Christian Health Center and enjoys giving presentations on the importance of a plant-based-diet-for personal health, reducing global warming, and preventing animal cruelty. She believes that human health and the way our food is produced are inseparable. She also gives lectures on regenerative agricultural topics including community composting and vermicomposting programs. Through her work she seeks to support healthier people, healthier ecosystems, and a more resilient future.

Dr. Stasia Richter was invited to join a panel discussion for the Conservation Foundation at Fountaindale Library on September 18th, 2025 in her role as Vice President of Sustain DuPage. The topic was soil regeneration as a solution to our climate crisis.

Dr. Stasia Richter presented on behalf of Richter Nursery at the Twig and Bloom Garden Club in Lombard on April 2, 2026 demonstrating how to create peat-free soil mixes using accessible ingredients that are environmentally responsible.
